I want to show some ideas I used to create a writing center for my classroom. I really loved how it turned out. The titles have a multi-colored chevron theme that really livens it up. It’s been a great addition to my classroom. The kids really love going to the writing center now. See below on how to make your own writing center. The entire Writing Center kit is available at my TPT shop.
I printed all the writing center pages, then glued them to construction paper, and laminated them so they last.
I added Velcro dots to the back of all the pages. Adding the Velcro enables me to mix it up through out the year and change the headers and samples. I might be working on a particular theme and want the children to write about that topic. With the Velcro I can easily change it back or change it to something else. This works great with thematic units.
Mount on a Tri-Fold Board or a bulletin board and your done!
